Night of the Living Red: Ann Margaret

Ann-Margaret can best be defined as the "female Elvis" She was a hip-swiveling, heartbreaking, sultry song bird. The perfect blend of Girl next door and Sex Kitten. I'd put her up there with Icons like Audrey, Elizabeth and Marilyn.  Ann-Margret had a chance encounter with Ms. Monroe, who was on location for a film. Monroe noticed the striking girl in a crowd of onlookers, then chatted privately with her, offering her encouragement. She's a triple threat, singing dancing and acting. Ann- Margaret is a natural brunette and her red hair color  was the idea of Sydney Guilaroff, who changed the hair color of other famous actresses such as Lucille Ball.

Bye Bye Birdie

2010: at 69 she won her first Emmy for SVU
Ann proves you can be sexy and beautiful at any age, she's a true icon

Night of the Living Red: Julianne Moore

 Ryan Gosling is perfection!
Anyways..... Lets talk Ryan's co star Julianne Moore. She  is an Iconic Redhead who I think is aging very gracefully & seems like she'd be a very down to earth celebrity. I also loved her when she was on 30 Rock as Alec Baldwin's love interest

Night of the Living Red: Carrie White

Carrie is more of a Strawberry Blonde then a full blown redhead
but I just had to write a post about her...
1.) because its October and Halloween is just around the corner
2. because I Love the Movie Carrie

Sissy Spacek as Carrie

Carrie White is portrayed by Sissy Spacek in the film adaptation of the Stephen King novel Carrie. I remember this being one of the first Horror films I ever watched. I loved it and I still do.

Night of the Living Red: True Blood

Sorry for the Hiatus, The past few weeks I've felt drained for some reason, Speaking of Drained...True Blood Season 4 Premiered last night. What did you think? I was disappointed that Queen Sophie wasn't in the episode, I'm dying to know what happened between her and Bill and When did Bill become King? Hes such a Creep, I'm team Eric, I pretty much watch the show just to see Eric.
I think True Blood has more Red Heads than any other show on television. People used to believe that Red Heads were Vampires. All 3 Ladies on True Blood dye they're hair red for the roles. Sophie Ann and Jessica are more strawberry blonde and Arlene is more of an intense Red.

Sophie-Anne Leclerq- the vampire queen of Lousianna is played by Evan Rachel Wood.
Sophie-Anne was born in the late 1000s and was treated very poorly by men in her human life. She possesses a great knowledge of the supernatural and her personality is that of a spoiled child. She's my favorite vampire aside from Eric.

Jessica Hamby- is a young Vampire played by Deborah Ann Woll
Jessica was turned into a vampire by Bill Compton.Since she is new she only possesses common vampire powers. She does not enjoy mainstreaming and dates a human named Hoyt Fortenberry. Deborah Ann's natural hair color is blonde and she dyes it red for the show.
Arlene Fowler-played by Carrie Preston
Arlene is a waitress at Merlotte's and is human. She is also naturally a blonde and sported a wig for the first 2 seasons of True Blood.

I'm so excited to see what Season 4 of True blood will bring...Vampires Werewolves Shifters Witches and Fairies....

Night of the Living Red: Emma Stone

via Mtv.com
Emma Stone won the VMA award for best comedic performance for Easy A last week. I saw Easy A and it wasn't the best movie but I have to say Emma is a pretty funny chick. She was great in Superbad and ZombieLand too. Oddly Enough Emma is not a natural red head but was born blonde, she dyed her hair for her role in Superbad and is most recognized for her auburn locks. She's going to be in the upcoming "The Amazing Spiderman" as Gwen Stacy (a blonde), which I'm very much looking forward to seeing.
Emma has cemented her role as Hollywood's Favorite little redhead, replacing Lindsay Lohan
I feel like had Lindsay Lohan stayed Red and also stayed out of trouble she probably could've landed many of Ms. Stone's roles.  I'm still hoping she can make a comeback, since I loved her in Mean Girls...anyway thats neither here nor there.
Back to Ms. Stone, who 1. is an awesome actress, talented funny and professional 2. she's a pretty kickass redhead, she manages to look great and show off her personal flare for fashion.

Night of the Living Red: Mystique

Mystique is a Female Villain from the Marvel Comic X-men. She has superpowers, most notable is her ability to shapeshift and when she is not posing as someone else she has blue skin yellow eyes and mahogany red hair. In the film versions she is portrayed by Rebecca Romijn and Jennifer Lawrence. I'm very excited to see X-men First Class,  Mystique is one of my favorite comic book characters.

Night of the Living Red: Jean Grey

 via JeanGrey.com

In anticipation of the new film X-Men: First Class-The First Fictional character to be featured in Night of the Living Red: Jean Grey who appeared as one of the original members in X-men #1 in 1963. Also known as Marvel Girl, Phoenix and Dark Phoenix. Jean Grey possesses telepathic powers allowing her to read minds, project her thoughts and mentally stun opponents. She also has the power of telekinesis, allowing her to levitate and manipulate objects, generate force fields & posses the ability to fly. Although she is not a natural red head actress Famke Janssen portrays Jean Grey/Phoenix in the feature film series X-men. My favorite X-men movie is the 2nd film but Jean Grey/Phoenix/Famke is by far looking her best in the 3rd installment X-men: The Last Stand. She may be the first comic book lady on my blog but I assure you she shall not be the last. Please enjoy some pictures of the fiery red headed lady mutant also know as Jean Grey/ Phoenix
